Once, Hazrat IMAM HUSSAN رضي الله ﺗﻌﺎﻟﯽٰ عنه and Hazrat IMAM HUSSAIN رضي الله ﺗﻌﺎﻟﯽٰ عنه wrote some words in calligraphy on a blackboard. After they had completed writing, they both told each other that their writing was better. They took their work to Hazrat Ali رضي الله ﺗﻌﺎﻟﯽٰ عنه and asked him to make the decision. Hazrat Ali looked at their work and asked them to take their work to their Mother Bibi Fatima رضي الله ﺗﻌﺎﻟﯽٰعنها. She looked at their work and said that, the best person to make such a decision was their beloved Grandfather Sayyiduna Rasoolullah ﷺ. Both brothers then went to the court of beloved Rasool ﷺ. Huzoor ﷺ looked at their work and said, "This decision will be made by Hazrate Jibraeel عليه السلام." Immediately, Sayyiduna Jibraeel عليه السلام appeared and said, "O Prophet of ALLAH! This decision shall be made by Almighty ALLAH.
Then Almighty ALLAH commanded Hazrat Jibraeel عليه السلام to take an Apple from Jannah and to drop it over their boards. The best work will be that on which Apple will fall. Hazrat Jibraeel عليه السلام did the same as commanded.
Subhan ALLAH! The Apple fell and split into two pieces. One half on the board of IMAM HASSAN رضي الله ﺗﻌﺎﻟﯽٰ عنه and other half on the board of IMAM HUSSAIN رضي الله ﺗﻌﺎﻟﯽٰ عنه. This showed that both of the calligraphy
writting was equal. Subhan ALLAH! Such excellence has been bestowed upon the grandchildren of the beloved Rasool ﷺ.
