🎆YAZEED'S PLAN🎆
Yazeed heard the situation in kufa and how the people of kufa had taking Bai'at on the hands of Hazrat Muslim bin Aqeel رضي الله ﺗﻌﺎﻟﯽٰ عنه and were waiting with great anticipation for the arrival of Hazrat IMAM HUSSAIN رضي الله ﺗﻌﺎﻟﯽٰ عنه. Yazeed immediately convened a sitting of his advisors and asked their opinion. The corrupt advisors adviced him as he wished they would. They said that Numan bin Basheer who was the governer of kufa was sympathetic to the Ahle Baith and should be removed. They also advised that a very stern person should replace him, if not the entire region of Iraqi would be in control of Hazrat IMAM HUSSAIN رضي الله ﺗﻌﺎﻟﯽٰ عنه and this would be detrimental to yazeed's plan.
After their discussion, they agreed that the person best suited for this position as governer of kufa, was Abdullah ibn Ziyaad. A letter was immediately sent to ibn Ziyaad, who at that time was the governer
of Basra.
